Pirati Vino is vinted and bottled in Northern, NJ.  Originated in the summer of 2006, the first varietal was Sauvignon Blanc.  Pirati Vino debuted its first Syrah in the spring of 2007 and its first Chianti in the summer of 2007.  Pirati Merlot, Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc, 2007 vintage was unveiled at Erin and Chris’ rehearsal dinner at the Garlic Rose in Madison, NJ.  In May of 2008 Pirati unveiled its first Dandelion Wine, a sweet wine for all palates.  Pirati Napa Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinto Grigio were created with the assistance of Pat Kennedy in the spring of 2008.  I decided to start making wine again, and the 2012 varietal is Chianti, which will be bottled in the fall of 2012.
